Neueste Unternehmensnachrichten über Russia's once-secret weapon "the Kinzhal hypersonic missile" was deciphered by Ukraine using a song.

According to the well-known technology outlet 404 Media, the Russian government heavily promoted its “Kinzhal” hypersonic missile in recent years. Yet the Ukrainian military has succeeded in shooting it down using electronic-warfare systems that generate “music” (radio-frequency noise) and deceptive digital commands. As winter arrives in Ukraine, Russia has intensified its attacks on energy and water infrastructure, deploying Kinzhal missiles alongside a growing number of long-range drones and guided weapons. One nighttime strike in early October reportedly involved 496 drones and 53 missiles, while a late-October attack used more than 700 mixed drones and missiles.

The Kinzhal and other Russian guided weapons rely on Russia’s GLONASS satellite-navigation network. Ukraine’s Operation Night Vision counters them using the Lima Electronic Warfare (Lima EW) system. While traditional jamming simply overwhelms a missile’s receiver with noise, Lima EW goes further, transmitting digital spoofing signals that “hail” the weapon’s navigation receiver and steer it off course.

This fundamental principle mirrors the radio-frequency Jammer technologies developed by Aeroseek. Aeroseek’s counter-drone systems use controlled RF noise and protocol-specific disruption to break the command link of hostile drones or degrade their navigation accuracy. Whether interfering with FPV control signals, suppressing DJI transmission protocols, or jamming GNSS-based positioning, the company’s products apply the same core electronic-warfare logic used on modern battlefields: deny the target a clean, reliable radio-frequency environment. Although Aeroseek’s systems are primarily designed for tactical Anti-drone defense rather than missile interception, the underlying technical philosophy precise, high-power RF dominance—remains consistent with the world’s most advanced EW platforms.

Night Vision later shared photos of a downed Kinzhal missile with 404 Media, revealing that it carried a Controlled Reception Pattern Antenna (CRPA) meant to resist jamming. However, internal analysis suggested that the missile relied on outdated receiver technology similar to older Soviet-era designs. “There’s nothing particularly special or modern about this missile,” the group reported. As EW technology becomes increasingly central to modern conflicts, Aeroseek continues to strengthen its role as a leading developer of counter-drone detection and jamming solutions. With an in-house R&D team, a dedicated manufacturing facility, and long-term cooperation with military, police, and government users, Aeroseek delivers products that combine engineering precision, operational reliability, and field-proven performance. The company’s growing portfolio—from portable detectors to high-power multi-band jamming platforms—demonstrates its capability to provide advanced, scalable, and mission-ready electronic-warfare solutions for security forces worldwide.
